Minamalist Film Festival
This was a favorite project of mine. For this project, I did The Book was Better Film Festival. The festival itself is based off of books that were used for movies, and the books were better than their film counterparts. We were tasked with creating a minamalist film festival that correlated in some way. We also had to include 3 forms of collateral. I did trading cards, tickets, and of course bookmarks. I used light weight sans serif fonts and bold colors as my modernist techniques. The colors were taken from each movie poster for each book. I used the fonts Panton Narrow and Hero in different weights for my project. I created icons to represent each book on my poster as well. It has a playful feeling which is conveyed through the typography and the colors used.
